The college students have the opportunity to participate in a number of extra-mural activities:
Outdoor club
This club allows students the opportunity to partake in various outdoor activities during the course of the year. These activities include:
- Hiking trails
- Canoe trails
- Paint ball
- Game viewing
- Day adventure trips
Eco-Club
The aim of this society to create an awareness of the environment, with members actively being involved in activities of the Baakens Valley Trust and similar environmental organisations.
All members’ community service are logged by the college as required by some institutions of higher learning for additional application points.
Matric Dance
The social highlight of the year is undoubtedly the annual Matric Dance, which is well supported by both staff and students alike. Due to the mature manner in which this event is managed, the true celebration of being a final year learner and the associated responsibility ensures a memorable evening.
Table-Tennis Club
The table tennis club allows learners to compete via a challenge ladder during break or after college with a trophy being awarded at the end of the year to the person holding the no1 spot for the longest.
Injoy Youth Group
This group of student’s gets together during some breaks to share devotions on a voluntary basis.
Learners at the Hill are welcome to establish common interest clubs at the college with the support of management.
Photography Club
Giving students the chance to share their passion for photography - This club not only invites top photographers to share information with the students, but also gives the students the opportunity to work on Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe Design Premium Suite in the colleges media lab.
